Responsibility for nature and the environment
When Töpfer decided in 1989 to produce its products in consistent organic quality, a few people were sure to have chuckled and considered the idea a whim of the moment. This could not have been more wrong: Today, the milk comes from organic farms in the Allgäu region for the most part (the rest comes from a few kilometres further away, but is also of organic quality); the natural cosmetics are certified by the BDIH after undergoing its stringent controls, and the cereals bear the EU organic seal. Why do we go to all this trouble? Because we feel that each one of us must assume a bit of responsibility for the future.
